Biophotonic Avatar

This construct is based in a simulation addressing the opportunity of creating a Biophysical Soundscape. The main focus of the work is the interaction between generation and stimulation of artifacts with sound. The geometry is extracted from the 5th iteration of a Calabi Yau Manifold due t…

Converter

In the installation Converter Kimberlee Koym-Murteira physicalizes the intersection between the material and digital realms.

Light, water, video, ordinary supplies, such as pegboard and plastic bottles, are her current materials of choice. They highlight her appreciation of the commonplace, allowing her to explore the mystery of the unknown embedded within the everyday. To get there, she works at finding ways to coax seemingly magical effects from plain home staples.
